Tour to Tiger’s Kingdom : Ranthambore

Ranthambore is the tiger’s kingdom. Yes! you heard it right. Ranthambore is situated in the district of Sawai Madhopur in the state of Rajasthan. Recently, me and my friend Mohit along with Praful Jangid planned a trip to Ranthambore in Sawai Madhopur (Rajasthan).

Ranthambore is also the highest earning tiger reserve in India. (Source)

So, we went on a 2- day trip to the place and we were all delighted to visit it. The royal resort where we stayed was very comforting and the jungle safari in a canter was also worth enjoying.

Travel Details:

1.) We traveled in my friend’s car and it was really a comfortable journey to the place.

2.) We stayed at a cost-effective resort @ Ranthambore and all arrangements were made by my friend Mohit Makar, who is the Founder of Spend Your Holidays Travel Agency.

3.) The Safari Ride was in a canter provided by local agency in Ranthambore itself. The canter was also full of people. Due to weekend as well as the year end, many tourists from India and abroad are visiting the place these days.

4.) In addition to Ranthambore National Park, one can also visit the Ranthambore fort and the Lord Ganesha Temple in Ranthambore. They are the MUST VISIT places when you are on a visit to the place.

Distance from different major nearby cities:

Jaipur = 168km (this was our route and took around 4-4.5 hours, with light to medium traffic)

Delhi = 381.1km (via Rajasthan State Highway SH 25)

Conclusion about the journey: We saw the King or Not?

Overall the journey was very nice. As many known people asked us, we would like to reveal that we saw a glimpse of tiger at last, just before the completion of safari tour. This made us happy. We were travelling in Zone-10 and people were usually amazed on knowing it (Many in different zones, were not able to see even a glimpse of tiger too.)
